All this lead Harvard astronomer Avi Loeb to propose that it might be a product of extraterrestrial technology. His colleague astronomer Seth Shostak knows a thing or two about looking forextraterrestrial life: he works at the SETI institute in Mountain View, CA, where the search for extraterrestrial life is their core business.
