Aflevering Inclusive Cities - Fiercely Attractive Cities Require Fiercely Attractive Budgets

Today we have a very special episode of the Mayor’s Manual Podcast. On the fourth floor of the Krasnapolsky Hotel, overlooking the Dam square, we are joined by Dr. Victor Santiago Pineda. Dr. Pineda is a globally recognized author, urbanist, speaker at House of Balance in Davos, presidential appointee and one of the driving forces behind Amsterdam for All and above all a very engaged person.  Inclusive cities do not only mean that designers should look at ramps in the city, because did you know that Uber in Amsterdam does not offer wheelchair accessible rides, whilst the city of Chicago does?  In this episode we also talk about financing innovation for the inclusive city. If we want to design radically inclusive and fiercely attractive cities, we also need radically inclusive and fiercely attractive budgets to pay for this.
