He was kind enough to join me for an extremely wide-ranging conversation and a bit of a sneak preview.  Our 50-minute sojourn touched on soft factors, hard reality and shared purpose. Along the way, he shared some surprising insights on organizational forms and on weaving corporate fabric. An offhand remark about “exchange programs”, for example, once led to just such a thing in his company’s own geographic matrix. The cost? A month’s Airbnb rental. The benefits? Incalculable!
